The artist has given the entirety of his twenty-five thousand pound honor cash to the Music Venues Trust, which works to save the Britain's small music venues.
Fender was awarded the prize on 16 October as his latest record his work was named the top album of the last 12 months.
The musician has chosen to donate the funds to the MVT, in recognition of the vital role local spots played in his initial steps.
"I personally would not have achieved what I am doing today if it hadn't been for all the gigs I did around the region, and elsewhere, when I was just getting going," remarked Fender. "These venues are legendary, but they are facing challenges."
Since the start of 2023, over 150 of these spaces have shut down – about 16 percent of the entire UK sector.
Recently, major artists like the band Pulp, Coldplay, Katy Perry and Sheeran have all supported the MVT in its efforts to support the industry, by adding a small levy to their ticket costs, which goes to help smaller concert halls.
Sam Fender also joined in, generating in excess of £100,000 on his live tour to assist numerous local spots across the UK.
The money supported spaces that were facing possible closure due to issues stemming from flooding, fire incidents and bereavements, as well as licensing issues, legal disputes and neighbor objections.
Some locations obtained funding support in improving infrastructure and technical equipment that positively impacted artists and concertgoers.
"The idea that money from performances in major spaces helps the independent spots, where it begins for artists like me, is just common sense," Sam Fender has stated.
Fender is not the first artist to donate his honor funds to good deeds.
